1. The personal data in relation to your application will be used by Bowtie Life Insurance Company Limited (“Bowtie”) for recruitment and other employment-related purposes. The personal data may be transferred and disclosed to, and used by any internal/external parties, where applicable, authorized to process the information for the above purposes or directly related purposes, including but not limited to processing, storing and verifying the accuracy of the personal data provided. 
2. The handling of personal data will only be made available to the persons involved in and/or relevant to the selection process and strictly comply with the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance. In addition, Bowtie may also transfer the Data to other entities which are involved in the recruitment and vetting process (including recruitment agencies and referees). 
3. It is voluntary for you to provide the Data requested by us. However, failure to receive the Data from you may result in Bowtie being unable to process your application and consequently, may result in your application being rejected. 
4. The Data collected from you will be used by Bowtie to assess your suitability for the vacancy for which you have applied for and, if you are selected, to determine the preliminary remuneration and benefits package to be offered to you, and other directly related matters in the recruitment process. You must ensure that all information provided to the Bowtie is accurate, complete and up-to-date. Data provided which is inaccurate or incomplete may influence the process and outcome of the recruitment. 
5. Bowtie will retain the personal data for a period of no longer than 24 months. Thereafter, the application together with all materials you provide will be disposed of. 
6. Under the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance, you may request access to, and/or correction of your personal data in relation to your application. If you wish to do so, please write to the Human Resources Manager, 1/F, Queen’s Centre, 58 - 64 Queen’s Road East, Wan Chai, Hong Kong. In accordance with the terms of the Ordinance, Bowtie has the right to charge a reasonable fee for the processing of any data access request.
