Role Summary
We are seeking an Officer in Office Administration and Employee Engagement to ensure our workplace runs efficiently and to foster a vibrant employee culture. This role is crucial in supporting our operational functions and enhancing the overall employee experience within our rapidly growing company.
Key Responsibilities
- Office Administration: Contribute to a positive workplace culture, manage office supplies & storage space, and support office policies. You’ll also coordinate with vendors for services like cleaning and catering.
- Reception Duties: Greet visitors and answer phone calls, ensuring a friendly and professional first impression.
- On/Off-boarding: Welcome new employees, arrange tours, and help with introductions.
- Employee Relations: Plan events and activities to boost employee engagement and raise awareness of company values.
- Compliance and Security: Stay updated on rules and regulations to ensure the company meets legal standards for maintaining a safe and healthy workplace.
Requirements for Success
- Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask in a dynamic environment.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, enabling effective collaboration across departments.
- Knowledge of office administration responsibilities, systems, and procedures.
- Demonstrated experience in event planning and project management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with HR software or other relevant digital tools is a plus.
- Self-motivated and proactive in identifying challenges and proposing solutions.
- Ability to support and foster team diversity, equality, and inclusion initiatives.
