Role Overview
At our company, we are dedicated to leveraging innovation to streamline financial processes. We seek a proactive and skilled professional for our Finance Manager role in Process Automation & Enhancement. This position is to drive efficiencies through automation and foster continuous improvement within our financial operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Process Automation: Lead initiatives to automate repetitive financial processes, enhance efficiency, and reduce manual effort.
- System Improvement: Collaborate with IT and other cross-functional teams to implement and improve financial systems and tools.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Communicate effectively with stakeholders to design and implement process enhancements that align with business goals.
- Data Analysis: Analyse financial data to identify process improvement opportunities and support decision-making processes.
- Training & Development: Provide training and support to the finance team on new tools and processes.
Qualifications & Skills
- Educational Background: Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- Experience: at least 7-12 years of experience working in insurance accounting/ finance and 3-5 years of experience in process automation or enhancement
- Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of finance processes with knowledge of financial automation tools and technologies.
- Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Project Management: Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with various stakeholders.
- Software Proficiency: Experience with Sun Systems, Excel, python and data analysis tools; knowledge of other programming or scripting languages is an advantage.
