About the Role

You will be working in a fast-paced organization that promotes cross-functional collaboration to work towards the success of Project Horizon and to lay the foundation for other team members to follow.

Your Key Responsibilities Include:

• Project Planning: Collaborate with finance, actuarial, and Engineering teams, and external consultants to create a detailed project plan within two months, identifying key milestones and dependencies for successful delivery by Q3 2025.
• Reporting Process Mapping: Map Bowtie's existing IFRS 17 reporting process within one month, detailing all inputs, outputs, and timelines from data sources to disclosure.
• Gap Analysis: Work with actuarial SMEs to analyze requirements for successful reporting of the IFRS 17 General Measurement Model (GMM) within two months.
• Progress Tracking: Monitor project progress, provide regular updates to stakeholders, identify roadblocks, and resolve conflicts throughout the project.
• Stakeholder Communication: Keep stakeholders informed of project developments and facilitate regular meetings for alignment.
• Team Leadership: Lead project teams, fostering collaboration and accountability.
• Risk Management: Proactively identify potential risks and develop mitigation plans.
  Documentation: Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including reports and meeting minutes.

The success of this role will be measured by:

• Consistently meeting project milestones
• Well-structured and communicated project plans, and follow through
• Successul delivery by the scheduled timeline

About you

You are a good project manager with prior experience in IFRS17 implementation in life/medical insurer, degree or certification is not important but the following will be crucial to your success at this role:

• Bilingual fluency in English and Cantonese
• At least 5 years in large-scale finance project management in insurance company 
• Super organised
• Proactive in spotting issues before they become real big issues, 
• Have the capability to work across teams with many different backgrounds to resolve conflicts, 
• Resilient - has the resolute to see the project to finish .
